Walichu Wachu, Ethiopia

Wolichu Wachu is a washing station located in the town of Uraga in the famous Guji zone of Ethiopia in the South east of the country.

Wolichu Wachu was established in 2017 by the Harso Haru Mude Farmer Cooperative. Being a relatively new washing station they were able to use and expand on the knowledge and practises of 30+ years.

This coffee is a grade 1 Ethiopian coffee. Grades in Ethiopia are determined on a visual inspection of defects and the overall cup score of the coffee. Grade 1 being the highest quality, Grade 1-2 being deemed speciality and grades 3 through 9 are commodity coffee.
