What is a coffee subscription?
A coffee subscription is the perfect thing for anyone who loves coffee and never wants their supply to run out! Choosing a Redemption Roasters subscription means we will deliver your favourite coffee straight to your door as frequently as you want. That means you never have to remember to order coffee again and you will always have a freshly roasted bag ready to use.
On top of this, with a Redemption Roasters subscription is that you will also be supporting us in our mission to change lives and reduce reoffending rates in the UK.
How do coffee subscriptions work?
Our coffee subscription is a super solution to ensure you never run out of your favourite coffee from Redemption Roasters! Once you’ve selected which coffee you’d like, you can choose the correct quantity and how often you want it delivered. We can send you whole beans, or we can grind them, so they’re ready for your cafetiere, v60 or espresso machine (or however else you drink your coffee)!
Why should I choose RR for my coffee subscription?
When you choose a coffee subscription from Redemption Roasters, you receive exceptional tasting coffee and help a great cause. Your subscription will help us in our mission to change lives and reduce reoffending rates across the UK.
Our coffee roastery is based inside the walls of HMP The Mount, where we train offenders in coffee-industry skills. Upon release, we help them find work either in one of our coffee shops or with another company within our network.
How much coffee should I order?
How much your order depends on how much coffee you drink!
We recommend the following:
- If you drink 1-2 cups of coffee per day, you should order a 1x 250g bag per week.
- 3-4 cups per day, order 2x 250g bags each week.
- 5-6 cups per day, 3x 250g bags each week.
- 7-9 cups per day, 1kg bag per week.
If you drink less than this, you can choose to buy your coffee less frequently; every 2 weeks or monthly.
How long does my RR coffee subscription take to ship?
Redemption Roasters will send your first coffee subscription the day after you place your coffee subscription order. We use Royal Mail’s 48-hour service to deliver our coffee parcels – which takes 2 days.
Please note while COVID-19 restrictions remain in place, this service can take up to 7 days.
Where can you deliver?
We ship our coffee subscriptions across the UK and to all EU countries.
Please note that while shipping charges for a UK coffee subscription are set at one standard price, the costs for EU shipping is based on the specific country and also the amount of coffee you order.
How long do coffee beans last?
For optimal flavour, we recommend you use our coffee beans within one month. This doesn’t mean you can’t use the coffee beans after this time but, after about 4-5 weeks, the beans will start to lose their flavour. For this reason, we date-stamp every bag of coffee before it leaves our roastery, so you know when your coffee was roasted.
How can I keep my coffee fresh?
To help your coffee stays fresher for longer, we send all our coffee in resealable bags. You should make sure the bag is properly closed to seal in the flavour. Alternatively, your coffee can be kept in an opaque, airtight container.
Can I send a coffee subscription as a gift?
Yes, we think coffee subscriptions make a great gift (but maybe we’re biased!)! You can set up a coffee subscription gift for 3, 6 or 12 months that’s tailored to the recipient’s preferences. Select the type of coffee they would prefer (we can help you with recommendations), how much they drink and how often you’d like it delivered. You can even select the grind which best suits the way they make their coffee.
How can I cancel my RR coffee subscription?
